Backlinks:

The Path to Higher Website and Search Engine Ratings

One way to get your website rated higher by the search engines is through the use of back links.  What this means is that other websites across the web have links to your content and/or website.

There are websites out there that specialize in doing this for a price.  The problem is that you don't have any control over where those links are placed and how relevant the websites are to your content.  This makes a difference in how highly your website is ultimately ranked by the search engines.

Another way to accomplish the same thing is through link exchanges.  This is simply two people making an agreement to put back links on their websites for each other.  Pretty simple, right!

Groups like The Unified Tribe are perfect for setting up these types of arrangements, since our whole reason for being is to help each other get noticed on the internet.  Not only can we do this by creating traffic, but we can also do it through the use of back links.

Here are some of my links:

And we can't forget to link our opportunity funnels:

In case you are wondering how to quickly and accurately get these web addresses, simply go to the website and page that you want to promote and copy the link  from the address bar at the top of the page.

Then as you meet people on line, and check out their websites, you can inquire about swapping links.  You don't need to use prime space on your blog for this.  Just adding the links to the bottom of your blog page works great.  You will certainly want to make sure the links work and its always a nice touch to put the link on a page with a similar topic and to add a nice title to it.

If you are interested in swapping links, mine are listed above, and you can send me yours as a comment to this post.  Thanks for visiting.
